Healthland and its next-generation electronic health records solution, Centriq®, designed for rural community and critical access hospitals (KLAS category Community HIS), are rated as “Most Improved” in the newly-issued “2014 Best in KLAS: Software and Services Report.” Healthland Centriq had a 22 percent score increase from the previous year – climbing from 57.3 to 69.9.
The KLAS announcement said that Healthland customers report, “. . . Healthland has taken dramatic strides to not only optimize usage for customers already live but to also make new go-lives more successful.”
KLAS reported “. . . renewed optimism within Healthland’s customer base.”
Vendor performance is rated by users for the Best in KLAS rankings. KLAS helps healthcare providers make informed technology decisions through its performance data reporting.
Healthland CEO Chis Bauleke said, “KLAS is the industry standard for HIT vendor rankings, and we’re very pleased that our investment and focus is resulting in customers rating our products and services so highly.”
The KLAS recognition comes on the heels of other progress reported by Healthland.
“Only a few days ago, we announced our progress with more than 150 hospitals making the move to the Centriq solution, and 99 percent of eligible clients successfully attesting for Stage 2 Meaningful Use in 2014,” Bauleke said. “There is more work to be done, but these types of results indicate that we are on the right path in our efforts to help small rural and Critical Access Hospitals be successful in the communities they serve.”
