In order to accelerate the adoption of health information technology and to ensure that software vendors meet standards of excellence, the CCHIT organization offers a certification program for product assessment. To date, CCHIT has developed these standards and certification processes in two areas—Ambulatory Services and Inpatient Services—and is currently developing additional standards.

We recognize the value of having a "gold standard" when making strategic decisions about how to manage healthcare facilities and provide the best possible patient care. This is why we respect CCHIT certification and view it as a guiding principle for how we manage our product strategy, direction and investment.
