Community Donation Guidelines

Healthland is a trusted partner to more than 500 rural community and Critical Access Hospitals across the country. By providing comprehensive electronic health record solutions that enhance patient safety and improve financial performance, Healthland leads the way in transforming community healthcare. We recognize the dedication of our clients in caring for their friends, neighbors and family members. That’s why we give back in the form of monetary and in-kind donations in the rural communities where our clients and employees are located.

Our philanthropic gifts, employee volunteerism and community outreach activities are focused on:

  • Healthcare and Information Technology (IT): Healthland will consider charitable initiatives that integrate technology with healthcare delivery. We also support programs that promote healthcare IT as a viable career option.
  • Wellness: Healthland will consider charitable initiatives that promote the well-being of individuals in communities where employees live and work. These may address critical needs such affordable healthcare, nutrition, fitness, fighting obesity or chronic illness, and other related challenges that can impact society’s vitality.
  • Rural Communities: Healthland is committed to improving the quality of life in rural communities. We support programs that engage healthcare providers (our clients) in strengthening and empowering these communities.

To be eligible for a donation from our company, a charitable organization should support one of the key areas above and be classified as a 501(c)(3). The organization should be situated within close proximity to a Healthland office (Minneapolis or Glenwood, MN); a current Healthland employee who works from home; or a Healthland client in good standing.
