Our Neighborhoods

We feel it’s important to be close to our clients and their communities. So for the ease and convenience of traveling to client sites, many Healthland employees choose to work remotely from home offices.

We also maintain offices in four key locations. Each community is known for its unique charm and welcoming nature. We invite you to explore the places we call home.

Minneapolis-St.Paul, Minnesota

Corporate Headquarters

The Twin Cities ranked #2 in a 2006 Kiplinger’s poll of Smart Places to Live, and Minneapolis was one of the Seven Cool Cities for young professionals. Together, they offer big city adventure delivered with plenty of small-town neighborliness. With a metro area population of 3 million, the “twin” cities are actually quite different. Minneapolis trends toward a younger vibe and more avant-garde architecture, while St. Paul offers quaint neighborhoods and a vast collection of well-preserved late-Victorian structures. Skyway systems in both downtowns make it easy to get around while adding another level of shopping and dining. Second only to New York City in live theater per capita, other metro area activities include a thriving music scene, countless lakes and extensive park systems to explore, and game-day fun at your choice of the Minnesota Twins, Vikings, Timberwolves, Wild, and others. Nineteen of Minnesota’s 20 Fortune 500 headquarters are headquartered within the metro area.

Glenwood, Minnesota

Regional Office

This is where our company began 30 years ago, and we maintain deep roots here along the shores of beautiful Lake Minnewaska. Glenwood offers the best of rural America with a close-knit town of approximately 3,000 citizens. Located just 120 miles northwest of the Twin Cities, it serves as a popular gathering spot for a widely diversified farming area. As a thriving lake community, year-round recreational opportunities abound, including boating, kayaking, and fishing fun in the summer, and ice fishing in the winter. Plus there are plenty of other activities to join in—from the Pope County Fair and Waterama Days, to antiquing and shopping, to outdoor events like hunting, snowmobiling, ATV-riding, and camping. As the Glenwood Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce says, Glenwood is “a great place to work, shop, live, and play!”

Louisville, Kentucky

Regional Office

Situated on the Ohio River in northern Kentucky, Louisville is influenced by both Southern and Midwestern culture. This has likely led to the many different ways its 741,000 citizens choose to pronounce the city’s name. Today Louisville may be best known as the location of the Kentucky Derby, but you’ll also find a diverse array of entertainment ranging from dance, orchestra, opera, and theatre to The Kentucky State Fair and Bluegrass Balloon Festival. Several of Louisville’s 122 city parks were designed by Frederick L. Olmsted, who designed New York City’s Central Park. Revitalization of the city’s urban neighborhoods—an artful blend of the new with the old—are popular with young professionals and offer an assortment of small, independent businesses and restaurants. In recent years, Louisville has emerged as a major center for the healthcare and medical sciences industries, as well as headquarters to several Fortune 100, 500, and 1000 companies.

Waco, Texas

Living in Waco lets you enjoy big-city advantages without all the big-city hassles. Located right in between Dallas and Austin, this family-friendly community of 120,000+ offers plenty of opportunities for work and play. Although Waco’s downtown is small compared to many other Texas cities, it still bustles with 17,000 people commuting to and from work there each day. The Waco Suspension Bridge—the longest single-span suspension bridge west of the Mississippi and now a National Historic Landmark—is a launching point for dozens of excursions to nationally acclaimed museums, a world-class zoo, art galleries, historic homes, and entertainment venues. Got a taste for adventure? Visit the Waco Mammoth Site, where 24 mammoths have been excavated so far. Or check out the famous Dr Pepper Museum, where this iconic beverage was invented. Waco is also home to Baylor University, whose rich heritage makes it the oldest continually operating university in Texas.
